Northbeam Builds is a small studio in Austin, Texas. We build websites and AI tools for local service businesses — plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers, pest control, electricians, cleaning companies, and the other shops a city runs on.
Most software sold to small shops is built for somebody bigger. It comes with dashboards nobody opens, contracts nobody can leave, and a sales call before you're allowed to know the price. The shops we talk to don't need any of that. They need their calls answered, a website that can take a booking, and a hand with the questions that come in after the office closes.
So that's what we build: one job at a time, at a fixed price, on terms a shop owner can read in one sitting. If a tool doesn't earn its keep, the customer cancels. That rule keeps us honest better than any contract would.

We use AI tools heavily in the building itself — that's how a studio this size ships this fast, and we don't pretend otherwise. Every build is tested end to end before it goes live, and anything a customer will read is checked by a person first.
Prices are published on the Pricing page. Scope, price, and live date are confirmed in writing before any payment. If it's not in the agreement, we're not charging you for it.
We don't run ads or manage social media. We don't take a cut of your revenue. We don't lock anyone into a long contract, and we don't sell your customer data to anyone, for anything. If a job isn't something we can do well, we'll say so and point you at who can.
Tim Tubbs is a registered nurse in Austin. His day job is clinical product and workflow automation at a Texas health system — building the tools that help care teams answer faster and miss less. He started Northbeam Builds because the same failure kept showing up in both worlds: good people, working hard, losing the thread because a message sat too long.
Northbeam is his answer for the businesses around him — the plumber on a roof when the phone rings, the two-truck HVAC shop whose website form waits until Monday. Small tools, honestly priced, that answer in time.
Questions about a product, a price, or whether we'd be a fit for your shop — one email reaches Tim directly.
